Essay
I envisage myself ten years from now as successful and compassionate nurse, making a good and solid impact in the lives of my patients and my community at large.
After my SSCE exams, I’ll like to further more in my education specializing in a field that resonate with my passion like pediatrics and oncology and also gain master’s degree in Nursing. This Master degree of mine Will impact in me the skills necessary to excell in my profession. I also aim to gain diverse clinical experience by working in different healthcare settings which will enable me to develop a deeper understanding of complexities of healthcare.
More over, I’ve been shaped by a strong foundation of skills, values and experiences. My passion for nursing has been rooted in kindness, empathy and a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives. I’m also aware of the potential challenges that lie ahead which may include complexities of healthcare systems, heavy workloads and lots more. To overcome these challenges, I plan to prioritize self-care, seek support and advice from my colleagues, senior colleagues and mentors with mindset on my core values and goals.
Further more, as a nurse, I aspire nor to project my personal success alone but also contribute positively to the society knowing fully well that that this will inspire others with my dedication and compassion. Working together with interdisciplinary teams will help to suggest possible solutions to healthcare challenges and mentoring the next generation of nurses.
Finally,in ten years from now, I vision myself as a respected leader in the nursing field who promote wellness in her society. I know and believe that my future career as a nurse will be a concentrated catalyst for positive change.
