My Future Perspectives as a Computer Scientist
Within the next ten years, I would like to add my contribution to the field of artificial intelligence (AI), offering solutions such as the enhancement of healthcare access, educational fairness, and environmental preservation. For this to happen, I would need to further my education in the field of computer science, actively participate in creative exposures among great organizations, and connect with other people of the same interests who are eager to make a change with technology.
Later into the 2020s, I would like to kickstart a research lab or a start-up that designs AI tools that are simple and cheap for use by many people. Such skills as computer programming, data analysis, being flexible, as well as maintaining strong ethical principles, assist me in solving multifaceted problems in a productive and fair manner.
However, I appreciate the fact that technological changes and their ethical implications are among the major challenges in development. In order to face these challenges, I will embrace continuous education and practice with interdisciplinary aspects of the highest priority, responsible AI and how it should be built.
By doing so, I believe my efforts can yield great results by focusing on the technology of the future and hoping to bring a change that adds value to the society. I want to be part of a generation of computer scientists who engage the younger generation of diverse groups to use technology for good, especially when it is not easily accessible.
