Essay
As I prepare for my WAEC exams, I have carefully thought about what career path I want to follow. Being a science student I knew i wanted to study medicine but I didn’t want to be the typical doctor and that was when it hit me. I want to be a radiologist in the future.
I want to help people out with early detection of diseases and ailments, so that they can get treated immediately. It resonates with me because of my love for science and my desire to help people with early and accurate diagnosis.
To achieve this, I plan to excel exceptionally in my forthcoming WAEC examination and pursue a medical degree as a radiologist major. Also I would follow up with resident programs and also complete the essential internships.
Radiologist have a significant impact in the medical field and health care system. I want to positively impact my small community by supporting individuals around my locality with medical research and preventive medicine to enhance the quality of their life.
Acknowledging how demanding this journey might be and the challenges that come with it, my dreams are the biggest motivator to persevere. My strong academic foundation would help me focus on studying and learning all that this field entails while acquiring necessary certifications.
Finally, my overall goal of to contribute to small community. I dream of a society where healthcare is accessible especially for minority groups and under developed areas. I would like to be a part of that dream using radiology to improve lives and the health care system.
