Essay
After my the completion of my secondary school education, my goal for my future career is to become a marine officer. As a seasoned maritime officer, I envision spearheading innovative operations and fostering sustainable practices that are eco-friendly. Throughout my years in the secondary school, I have honed essential leadership skills as I held the position of class representative for arts students.
To achieve my vision, I am ready to put in the work where necessary as I plan to pursue advanced certifications in maritime management and safety. This would enhance my expertise in this field and in turn help me contribute significantly to the industry.
For me, it is not just about being a marine officer, I hope to be a source of inspiration to my junior colleagues in the field and other students like me, who dare to dream. I will share the knowledge I have gathered with them and offer mentoring opportunities.
Navigating the complexities of this career path may be challenging but with hard work, dedication and continuous learning I will overcome and strive to excel.
In a nut shell, my end goal is to positively impact my society and my small community here in Modakeke. Contributing my own quota in fostering a safe and more sustainable marine environment.
