Essay

When I was younger, I hated seeing people being cheated because of ignorance of their rights. I also strongly hated seeing my society whereby many people are ignorant of their duties and responsibilities as citizens and did things carelessly. Coupled with this, I loved solving people’s problems and fighting for the right of others. These abilities and passions have made me decide to pursue a career in Law.

A lawyer deals with judicial actions and help others protect their rights. I put in my best to learn everyday about how the law in reality guides our society. I aspire to become a lawyer because I would love to fight for the poor whose rights are always neglected. Also, every issue can be solved through law and order and I want to be that resolver. The law profession is unique because not many other professions other than lawyers fight for justice.

Conclusively, what inspires me is that when I was younger, I used to watch Television programmes a lot especially the news. Whenever I saw anything awkward that happened to some victims, I was usually provoked to find the criminals and punish them according to the law but I was too young to do that. Later on, I asked my mother how can I bring justice to the poor? And she told me that I have to become a lawyer. From that day, I have developed great passion for the profession which I know I will become one day.
