I have chosen Horticulture as a future career. Horticulture which is a branch of Agriculture deals with the growing of garden crops, fruits and vegetables as well as ornamental plants. Horticulture is a very important area of study as it impacts our lives on a daily basis by providing nutritious fruits and vegetables as well as beautifying the environment with flowers and trees for nice views and recreational purposes.
In the next ten years from now as a professional in Horticulture, I plan to beautify environments for a living by growing flowers and trees and also establishing good and affordable relaxation centres, gardens and parks for recreational activities across the country.
Most countries with beautiful enivironments have taken horticulture very serious and this contributes to the reason as to why many people travel from far and near to have a beautiful look at their environment and enjoy the scenerio. I believe Nigeria can also be the same.
