MY FUTURE CAREER
My future career is pharmacy. I choose pharmacy because pharmacist’s role in healthcare is importance and also I have interest in science subjects.
A pharmacist is a healthcare professional who specialises in the usage and administration of medications and preparation of medicines. Pharmacist are expects on how drugs are prepared, works and interact with the body system.
I found myself interested in pharmacy a long time ago when my sister had an health challenge, she consulted the chemist as she was administered the wrong medication which later complicated her illness.She went through severe pains and almost lost her life. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctor detected that the drug she used had not only complicated her illness but also affected some of her internal organs.
I am determined to become a pharmacist at all cost and by this, I am set to perform excellently well in my external examinations into the university with ease. I desire to educate everyone around me that self-medication or the consumption of drugs without a medical personnel prescription is dangerous and can lead to death. I desire to save lives and ensure patients are treated with great care and love.
I really hope that all my efforts and aspirations will allow me to finally fulfill childhood dream of becoming a pharmacist.
