Essay
Essay about my future career in becoming a civil structural engineer.
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by the structures and systems that make up our world. I have always wondered how bridges and buildings are designed and built, and I have marveled at the intricate engineering behind them. Civil engineering is a challenging and rewarding field that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the world, and I am eager to put my skills and knowledge to use in this exciting field.
I aspire to become a structural engineer inorder to use my technical expertise to preserve historic structures and cultural heritage sites, so that future generations can appreciate and learn from.
I plan to use my aspirations to help reduce rate of poverty by designing structures that can be small, comfortable, long lasting and accessible.
Some of the past engineers that made great impacts in building industry are;
-Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower.
-Henry Brunel, the engineer behind the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Royal Albert. Wishing to tread their paths and to play a distinct and unique role in affecting the society at large.
Competent and certified engineers are needed that will design according to specifications in preventing building collapse,disaster occurrences and loss of lives and properties.
Bribery and corruption has eaten deep into all sectors in the entire nation in which engineering sector is not exclusive. Coming into the field, I will strive to discourage bribery and corruption from building industry .
In conclusion by the grace of God when I get into the profession, I will make sure infrastructures are constructed to international standard, and making sure artificial intelligence come to play for high quality, effective and efficient delivery of projects entrusted into my care. Thank you.
