Essay
My future career is Law. A lawyer is a professional who is trained and authorized to practise law and give legal counsel. The Law controls the affairs of a nation and as a matter of fact, the well-being and growth of a nation depends greatly on how well the Laws are made, interpreted and implemented.
We have found ourselves in a world where what is right and wrong are no longer judged by moral standards but a very sound understanding of the Law. This is why a criminal can walk free even when he is obviously guilty and the innocent locked up as a result of his ignorance about the Law. To survive in this world that we have found ourselves, it is essential to have at least a very good understanding of the law and our rights.
This has shaped my aspirations to educate Law abiding citizens not only to abide by the Law but also to understand the Law. In few years to come, I dream of becoming a lawyer who helps citizens know their rights and get the needed understanding of the law so as to know the steps to take when they feel cheated.
