With an ambition to save lives, I have chosen Nursing as a future career. Nursing generally involves caring for sick or weak people. Our health is a very important aspect of our lives and it should not be taken with levity. This is where I plan to make my mark in the medical world.
The medical system of the country is improving little by little however, the facilities in major government clinics and health centres are inadequate. This is due to overcrowding in most cases. Sicknesses that can be treated can as well be prevented from occurring. I have encountered people who have not been to the hospital in a very long time. This is not because of the hospital bills but because there was no need to.
As a well-to-do nurse in coming years, I plan to use my knowledge and resources to create the needed awareness about factors that can improve the human health such as healthy lifestyle, good food, good rest, frequent medical check-ups and so on. All these to promote healthy living.
