Agriculture is the science of cultivating and harvesting crops and also rearing and management of livestock. A career in Agricultural science will always be a big dream for me as a student who grew up in a farming environment. As evident in Modakeke, Nigerian farmers are very diligent however, It saddens me to see food as a scarce and expensive commodity in Nigeria in recent times and some of these food items are imported when they can be locally cultivated within the country.
As a successful entrepreneur in few years to come, I envision to make quality food items very surplus and affordable even to people in the lower class. I plan to work with farmers both far and near to understand the challenges they are facing and how these challenges can be solved and then discuss how making food very affordable can be achieved.
I will work hard and remain focused as achieving these will benefit my town and the society at large.
